This is my first time doing a blog with this service. I am currently on a work experience placement with Mind, which I will be doing for this current week. I have been to a Mind drop in centre once before and I reallt enjoyed the time spent with everyone.
My name is Leighann (pronounced Leanne dodgy spelling I know blame my mother!) I am 15 and I am largely influenced by music. The majority of music I listen to could be classed as rock/metal but I am very open and will listen to any type of music, the Spice Girls included.
I love body art (tattoos and piercings) it is amazing to see how unique people can look by changing their appearance. I believe it is an art in itself and I'd love to do something like this when I left school on the side as I also love psychology. I find it interesting how the mind works and how people's past expereiences shape the decisions they make in their lives, and why people react to certain situations.
I go to Trentham High School, although I live in Bucknall. I moved to Trentham High about 2 months ago, because of bullying issues and the fact that I did not enjoy going to school at Mitchell High, my previous school. I enjoy my education and want to get the most out of it as possible. I really enjoy art especially as I love drawing. My bedroom walls are covered with drawings I have done, although they are not very good I enjoy drawing all the time. I also love to write fiction, mainly horror and crime stories. Although I never do have time to finish them.
I have a lot of friends who I love dearly and I'd never change any of them for the world. They know exactly how to make me happy when I'm having a bad day and we always enjoy special nights out playing pool or going to see local bands. If I didn't have these people in my life I would not be the person I am now because they have helped me through a lot and I have done the same for them.
